Since its founding in 2000, Ani Albers Studio has unified its strikingly diverse portfolio through an unconventional commitment to integral, intentional design. Amidst the universe of bespoke fabrics, world class craftsmen, and the top international furnishing galleries, the Studio pulls together rare and disparate elements to create living spaces that are themselves objects of art. As the driving force behind some of the preeminent residential design projects in the world, Ani Albers Studio manifests a historically grounded, highly considered aesthetic that weaves together the precision of fine art with the limits of a physical space and the singularity of its clients.
In addition to the the Interior Architecture and furnishings for a Significant Presidio Heights house in San Francisco, CA, and the furnishings for a Hawaiian Family Compound, ongoing projects include the furnishings and design for a Beach Estate in La Barra, Uruguay, design for a Historic Royalty Estate in Trousdale Estates, Beverly Hills, a Historic Water Tower Estate in Woodside, CA.
Ani's work issues from a deep creative core. Her MFA in painting served as the foundation for a career beginning with Gensler and Associates, where she attended to an array of technically demanding projects. Next she partnered with mentor Orlando Diaz-Azcuy and honed her deep appreciation for spatial relationships and refined materials. As Senior Design Director for Steven Volpe Designs, Ani took the creative lead on a dizzying array of world-renowned projects for clients in international hubs like London, Paris, New York City, to the creative titans of art and advertising in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Published features include an Atherton Estate in Architectural Digest and a London Townhouse in Elle Decor.
